Job Responsibilities: * Administer the end-to-end lifecycle of government assets, including acquisition, receipt, tagging, inventory, transfer, and disposal * Investigate and report incidents of Loss, Damage, Destruction, or Theft (LDDT) of government property, and implement safeguards to prevent future occurrences. * Conduct periodic physical inventories, reconcile discrepancies, and maintain accurate records in government-approved property management systems. * Ensure all property management activities strictly comply with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.245-1 and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFAR). * Responsible for status and task management reports for area of responsibility. * Manage the flow of shipments both inbound and outbound in the manner that is most cost effective. * Utilize logistics software. References Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations on hours of service. * Manages load utilization. Coordinates common carrier activities. Updates information for each customer. * Maintains customer delivery time windows. Maintains customer data base network system. Responsible for tracking raw materials. * Manages communications associated with logistics distribution of material. Coordinates the distribution point of material for incoming and outgoing material. * Proficiency in the Microsoft suite (TEAMs, Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) Required Qualifications * Ability to obtain and maintain a Government Secret Clearance. * Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, along with certifications, licenses and extensive experience with use of material handling equipment. * Required to handle; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, bend, crouch or crawl. The employee must also occasionally lift and/or move up to 45 pounds or more. * This position requires a minimum of 3 years' related experience. * Willingness to travel CONUS and OCONUS, 25% annually.
