Overview

Salary Range $19.25

Description

Starting Pay Rate: $19.25 with pay progression

Schedule: Monday- Friday 7am-3:30pm

Forklift Experience Required

The role encompasses comprehensive responsibilities for the auditing, systematic loading and unloading of transportation vehicles, meticulous assembly of customer orders, and the efficient movement of materials within the facility. The incumbent will report directly to the designated supervisor or team leader.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently select and assemble required materials from storage locations, ensuring orders are complete, packed, and/or repacked as necessary, with appropriate labeling and marking before moving to staging areas.
  • Execute the loading and unloading of trucks safely and with precision.
  • Operate a variety of material handling equipment, including industrial trucks, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
  • Conduct thorough audits of finished goods received from production, accurately completing associated documentation.
  • Coordinate the timely delivery of component materials to designated work areas as directed by supervisor.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on power handling equipment to ensure operational readiness including identifying, documenting, and communicating any malfunctions, defective materials, or other irregular conditions.
  • Uphold a clean, orderly, and efficient work environment.
  • Comply with all established safety guidelines and regulations.
  • Adhere to the production schedule as posted.
  • Generate inventory control data for pallets and outbound shipments as requested.
  • Compile and submit end-of-shift reports.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Education, Experience and Skills Required:

  • Must have at least one year of experience in operating a reach truck or cherry picker machine.
  • Must have at least one year of experience in working with picking processes - RF gun experience highly preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required. May substitute company paid GEDWorks program.
  • Ability to safely operate, obtain and maintain a valid forklift certification/license and other material handling equipment
