Job description

ZimZee Recruiting is looking for a Material Control Clerk for our avionics client in Wichita, KS. You will be supporting inventory management and material flow operations for a manufacturing and repair environment. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, pulling and kitting parts, stocking materials, performing cycle counts, and issuing parts to technicians.


Skills and Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy in counting and inventory transactions
  • Ability to manage inventory control activities, including stocking, issuing, and tracking materials
  • Experience with inventory management systems or ERP software preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret bills of materials (BOMs) and inventory documentation
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Previous experience in inventory control, cycle counting, warehousing, or material handling preferred


Key Responsibilities

  • Pull, kit, and stage parts for manufacturing and repair operations according to production requirements
