Location: Elwood, KS
Reports To: Purchasing Manager

Department: Operations
Position Summary
ProDig is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Materials & Inventory Coordinator to take ownership of inventory accuracy, receiving processes, material transactions, and material flow throughout our manufacturing operation.

This position plays a critical role in improving inventory integrity and ensuring materials are available to support production. Responsibilities include receiving incoming materials, maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting ERP transaction discipline, supporting material replenishment systems, partnering with Accounting to resolve inventory-related discrepancies and support accurate inventory valuation, coordinating material movement throughout the operation, and supporting job completion processes to ensure inventory accuracy.
Success in this role requires strong process discipline, ownership, and collaboration with Production, Purchasing, Scheduling, Accounting, and Material Handling teams.
Key Responsibilities
Receiving & Material Control
• Receive and inspect incoming shipments for quantity, quality, and damage
• Verify receipts against purchase orders and packing slips
• Process receipts accurately in JobBOSS ERP
• Label and organize inventory within designated locations
• Ensure inventory transactions are completed accurately and timely
• Maintain organized receiving, staging, and storage areas
• Investigate and resolve receiving discrepancies
Inventory Control & Accuracy
• Own day-to-day inventory accuracy and transaction integrity
• Perform and coordinate cycle count activities using ABC methodology
• Investigate root causes of inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions
• Monitor negative inventory, duplicate transactions, and inventory exceptions
• Maintain accurate inventory locations and bin management
• Support and maintain lot tracking processes
• Ensure lot-controlled materials are received and maintained accurately
• Support Kanban replenishment systems and processes
• Track and report inventory accuracy metrics
Production Support
• Ensure materials are available to support manufacturing requirements
• Coordinate movement of materials between receiving, inventory, and production
• Communicate shortages and inventory concerns proactively
• Support material kitting and staging activities as needed
• Support continuous improvement efforts
ERP Transaction & Job Completion Support
• Support accurate completion and closure of manufacturing jobs
• Review completed jobs to verify inventory impacts are accurate
• Coordinate with Production Leads to resolve discrepancies
• Support job reconciliation activities
• Ensure purchase order receipts are completed accurately
Accounting & Inventory Support
• Support inventory valuation accuracy
• Support the 3-way match process
• Investigate quantity, freight, and receipt discrepancies
• Assist with landed cost updates
• Support month-end inventory reconciliation activities
