Based in Oakland, NJ, the Contract Quality Control Material Handler will be responsible for scanning then moving materials & verifying inventory. They will also be performing basic inspection of incoming materials according to specs & assisting in day-to-day tasks to fulfill work priorities accordingly.

Core Job Duties:

  • Responsible for inspection and handling of incoming materials and in process/finished product inspection, as part of Quality Assurance team.
  • Handle and perform inspections on materials and products, processes, or components for conformance to specifications. This includes first article, incoming materials, in-process and final inspection.
  • Record results on inspection forms and provide report to Quality Control Manager
  • Process Customer return (RMA) documentation and material depositions.
  • Maintain clean and orderly work area.
  • Perform and support other related tasks as required.

Education & Experience:

  • High School Diploma (GED) or higher degree in related discipline

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Basic knowledge of measuring instruments like Vernier Caliper, Micrometer.
  • Ability to lift loads of up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work independently and self-motivated.
  • Ability to work smart in a fast-paced environment and in a team environment.
  • Ability to think proactively and plan and execute resourcefully.
  • MS Office proficiency
  • Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience

Base Pay:

Expected Base Pay Range: $26.00 to $29.00 Hourly

The base pay range included is a projected hiring range for a position, level and potential work location(s) listed. Topcon provides the compensation range that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. This compensation range is based on a full-time schedule.
