Job description

As a Material Handler – Level 4 here at Honeywell, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient movement and management of materials within our operations. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to meet customer demands and maintain high standards of quality and efficiency.

You will report directly to our ISC Production Supervisor, and you’ll work out of our Savannah,GA location on a Onsite work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the overall supply chain process by ensuring that materials are handled, stored, and distributed effectively, contributing to the seamless operation of our manufacturing and logistics functions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and supplies according to established procedures and safety standards.

  • Accurately pick and stage material for Gulfstream production to meet production schedules.

  • Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and reporting discrepancies to management.

  • Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols.

  • Collaborate with production, quality, and logistics teams to ensure material availability and resolve any supply issues promptly.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Experience in material handling or warehouse operations within a manufacturing or aerospace environment.

  • Knowledge of inventory control procedures and material storage best practices.

  • Proficiency in operating pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.

  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory tracking software to maintain accurate records.

  • Ability to follow safety guidelines and maintain compliance with OSHA regulations.
