Job description

Ford Motor Company is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Supervisor to join our Parts Distribution Center team in Denver. In this vital onsite role, you will lead a skilled team, ensuring safety protocols are rigorously followed, inventory is accurately managed, and orders are fulfilled efficiently and on time. You'll be at the heart of our day-to-day operations, driving performance and fostering a positive work environment.

The primary role of a Lead Material Control Supervisor is to oversee the day-to-day operation of a Parts Distribution Center. Responsibilities include but not limited to: 

Lead SG 6 supervision and a represented team responsible for Receiving, Packaging, Replenishment, Picking, and Shipping.

Deliver objectives related to Cost, Quality, Safety, Efficiency, Absenteeism. 

Engage with key stakeholders including suppliers to deliver key objectives. 

Maintain a positive working relationship with all stakeholders, including fair and consistent administration of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

The ability to manage behaviors and accountability in process, in yourself and the hourly workforce.

This is an onsite position that will require flexibility including the ability to work any shift, including nights, weekends and holidays. There is no hybrid option for this position. 

You'll have... 

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • Minimum 5-year leadership experience.

  • Minimum 2-year work experience in similar positions.

  • Willing and able to work weekends, holidays, and afternoon shifts with varying hours. Must be flexible with shift times, and willing and able to work overtime. 

  • Must be willing and able to work onsite full-time, in the Kansas City High Velocity Center (Shawnee, KS)

  • Demonstrated ability to actively listen, collaborate and problem solve with stakeholders.

  • Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism in difficult and stressful situations.

  • Demonstrated exceptional oral and written communication skills.

  • Working Knowledge of Microsoft: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Bachelor Degree.

Prior Warehouse supervisor experience. 

Experience working in a UAW environment. 

Experience in warehouse/distribution/ production operations. 

Knowledge of WMS-Warehouse Management Systems-Preferably SAP/EWM

Knowledge of Payroll Systems.
