Job description

Position Overview: TheProduction Control Manager is responsible for leading Fab production controlactivities in support of MACOM's semiconductor manufacturing operations. Thisrole drives WIP management, production execution, Fab performance metrics, andcross-functional alignment to meet safety, revenue, throughput, cycle time,yield, quality, and on-time-delivery commitments.
Schedule Requirement: This weekdayposition supports 24/7 semiconductor operations and may require occasionalcoverage outside standard business hours. The Production Control Manager isexpected to maintain appropriate overlap with Operations, Engineering, and Planningteams to support successful manufacturing execution.
Key Responsibilities:
 Manage the ProductionControl scheduler/planner team, including daily priorities, workload alignment,performance expectations, and team development.
 Provide daily directedinput to shift supervisors regarding material delays in the Fab, scheduleimpacts, new priorities, immediate needs or changes, slow-moving material, andoverall health of the line.
 Serve as the primary pointof contact for the Supply Chain team, including alignment on quarterly revenuecommitments.
 Ownership the weeklyproduction starts meeting, ensuring starts plans are accurate, aligned, and clearlycommunicated across stakeholders.
 Ownership of weeklyengineering starts ensuring integration with production start plans.
 Ownership and control of thematerial kitting process in support of production execution.
 Ownership and control ofEPI material inventory, including visibility, coordination with Purchasing,issue resolution, and alignment with long-range production needs.
 Review and optimization of thereporting structure in coordination with the Production and Planning teams.  This includes ERP (SAP) and MES (Eyelit /FPS) system integration activities. 
 Ownership of the Fab MESsystem scheduler to optimize production priorities on live material.  This includes scheduling rules, effectiveness,and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications andExperience:
 Minimum 3 years ofexperience in manufacturing, production control, operations, planning, orrelated manufacturing roles, preferably in a semiconductor environment.
 Demonstrated experiencemanaging WIP, production schedules, delivery commitments, operational metrics,and cross-functional execution in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
 Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain,Industrial Engineering, Business, orrelated field.
