Job description

ASRC Federal System Solutions (AFSS) is seeking a ORION Quality Configuration Analyst, Associate at Kennedy Space Center, FL.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Apply Orion quality principles across design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation, reliability, inventory, and R&D activities.
• Review product requirements, specifications, models, drawings, and procedures for accuracy and conformance.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, program teams, and customers to resolve quality issues and strengthen standards.
• Support material and inventory control functions, including contract material transfers and verification of requirement fulfillment.
• Participate in audits to ensure proper closure of production orders and accurate tracking of scrapped materials.
• Process documentation such as returntostock requests and workflow transactions in alignment with company procedures.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent experience/combined education. Additional technical training equivalent to a technical associate degree preferred.
• Familiarity with inspection and test equipment design, reliability engineering, and basic failure analysis concepts.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across functional teams.
• Experience with quality management systems (such as ISO 9001 or AS9100), ERP/PLM systems, and tools including SAP, VECAMs, and electronic workflow systems.
• Demonstrated problemsolving ability and capability to support root cause investigations.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance if required.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen.
