JSG is hiring an Operator - Material Control for our client in Cypress, CA. 
Pay rate: $18-$20
Skills:

  • 5 years’ experience as an inventory manager
  • Written and oral skills to communicate effectively.
  • 1+ year(s) microscope experience required
  • Work with Supervisor on obsolescence components and related documents.
  • Work with engineers on update and revise assembly drawing and SCDs
  • Work with purchasing on getting Quotes.
  • Manage all inventory and ensure proper count.
  • Assist in Conduct yearend inventory Audit.
  • Kitting and issuing components for production
  • Assist in maintaining all shop coats, bouffant, ESD shoes/booties, etc.
  • Knowledge of MRP system for production, inventory and material management
  • Performs assembly and fabrication under a microscope.
  • Set up, program, and run spot-welding systems for electronic components
  • Fabricate and weld components in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Follow engineering drawings to ensure accurately fabricated parts.
  • Suggest processes and operations to produce the best possible results.
  • Examine workpieces for defects and measure workpieces to ensure conformance with specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Support production and engineering teams in developing efficient manufacturing methods and improving product quality.
  • Perform dimensional and visual inspections on complex mechanical and welded components using precision measurement tools and equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.).
  • Verify parts and assemblies against engineering drawings, models, and specifications using GD&T principles.
