Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech), you will be pivotal in producing diagnostic images that enable Radiologists to accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions.
Each day you will perform a variety of imaging examinations, including X-rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs, while actively contributing to a positive patient experience through direct interaction.
To be successful in this role, you must deeply understand diagnostic imaging's critical importance, encompassing expertise in workflow, patient positioning, and capturing precise results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses.

  • Utilizes proper equipment (gurney, wheelchair, Hoyer-Lift, etc.) to safely transport patient.
  • Performs all routine diagnostic and fluoroscopic procedures. Performs all routine CT or IR procedures.
  • Assigns all patient charges appropriately.
  • Records/reviews all techniques/procedures as required.
  • Clearly marks all radiographs as to side location, position, patient ID, etc.
  • Marks all CR images with correct markers.
  • Ensures all CR images are quality controlled and with correct S range.
Job Requirements

Required

  • Completion of radiologic technology training in an American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) approved school 
  • One year or more as a staff technologist and performs all routine and emergency radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures and operates the CT scanner for limited procedures and able to take call
  • Able to perform basic IR procedures and take call
  • Medical Radiographer: CA
  • Fluoroscopy Radiology Tech: CA
  • Registered Technologist Radiography: ARRT
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support - CPR


Preferred

  • Bachelors Of Science Radiologic science and 3 years of experience as a staff technologist
