Job description

The BMET III Performs the most difficult of a variety of technical duties in support of biomedical equipment and devices. Functions as technical work resource for a group of BMET II, I and other staff. This work is performed under minimal supervision and using the tools and techniques of biomedical technology.

Hours: Full time (40 hours), Day Shift, Some Weekend Work Required
Location: Johns Hopkins Hospital Baltimore, MD
Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Requires the completion of formal training in a recognized certificate program in Biomedical Technology or Electronics at a recognized technical school, college, or apprenticeship sponsor organization.
  • Associate degree in Biomedical Technology or Electronics with an understanding of coursework in anatomy and physiology preferred.
  • 3 years related experience preferred
  • Equip Manufacturer training perferred, specificly GE and Drager
