Job Title: EHR Technical Support - Health Informatics
Shift: Full Time
Job Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM / Monday - Friday
Base Location: Lawrenceville - (Hybrid / Remote)

Provides technical and administrative support to the Health Informatics (HIT) team, including EHR system support, user access management, ticket resolution, reporting, and training coordination. Ensures timely system access, accurate data, and efficient response to staff needs in a fast-paced, multi-site healthcare environment.
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Manage HIT ticketing system: triage, assign, resolve, and track trends.
  • Respond to support requests via phone, email, and virtual platforms; escalate urgent issues.
  • Maintain EHR user accounts, access permissions, and troubleshoot login issues.
  • Support system maintenance, data cleanup, and error resolution.
  • Run reports, assist with data collection and basic analysis.
  • Support training content and materials, and participant coordination.
  • Provide administrative support, including meetings, documentation, and inventory tracking.
  • Provides education, training, and ongoing support to staff.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Additional functions include:
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Perform daily responsibilities independently with minimal supervision.
  • Execute projects with a focus on high-quality results and meeting assigned deadlines.
  • Participate in HIT support activities, special projects, VPH initiatives, trainings, and statewide meetings as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred in Health Informatics, IT, Business, or related field)
  • Experience in administrative support, data entry, or technical support role
  • Basic proficiency with computer systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and office equipment

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
  • 1+ year of experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or health informatics setting
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems and user access management
  • Basic understanding of data reporting and analysis

Requirements/Competencies:
  • Must be able to lift 20 pounds.
  • Requires long periods of sitting/standing.
  • Must have valid Georgia driver's license and Motor Vehicle Record in accordance with company policy.
  • Candidates for selection must pass a criminal background check (including fingerprinting).
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and subject to random drug screens.
  • Any combination of training and experience, which would have enabled the applicant to acquire the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities Note: Some positions may require a valid driver's license.
  • Other duties as assigned.
