Job Description

Are you looking for a role where you will truly make a difference and contribute to a growing industry in Canada? ECO Canada is looking for a performance-driven individual to join the team immediately. Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, the successful candidate will have a passion for the environment and experience in Digital Marketing.

As a key member of the Marketing Team, the Digital Marketing Coordinator willย contribute to enhancing ECO Canada's digital presence and supporting the delivery of campaigns across our programs and brands.

While each member of ECO Canada has individual responsibilities, ECO takes a team-based approach. Everyone is encouraged to take ownership of their ideas and to see them through to completion, collaborating with key influencers as required.

This is a temporary, in-office role supported by funding from the Canada Summer Jobs 2026 program.

To be eligible for this role, you must:


  • Be between 15 and 30 years old at the start of the job
  • Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or have refugee status in Canada
  • Have a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN) and be legally able to work in Canada

Responsibilities


  • Updating and creating webpages in WordPress, including content edits, formatting, layout adjustments, and image placement.
  • Assisting with email marketing campaigns: drafting copy, designing email templates, preparing lists, and supporting quality assurance.
  • Writing and editing digital content for websites, landing pages, ads, newsletters, and other marketing materials.
  • Assisting with asset organization, documentation, and maintaining content accuracy across platforms.
  • Performing additional digital marketing tasks as required.

Qualifications and Education

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Web Design, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of WordPress or other CMS platforms (training will be provided).
  • Familiarity with email marketing tools (Brevo, Mailchimp, Constant Contact, or similar) is an asset.
  • Interest or basic experience in design tools (Canva, Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud) is considered an asset.
  • Comfortable working with data, learning analytics tools, and preparing simple performance reports.
