Lead Business Systems Analyst โ€“ Equipment Assets
Location: 110 A.R. Wilson Quarry-Aromas
Hiring Pay: $100,992 - $140,148 per year

This position provides leadership and expertise in the Companyโ€™s equipment systems, asset management, maintenance planning, business analytics, and compliance activities while also providing guidance, coaching, and development for assigned Business Analysts. The role works in partnership with the Business Manager and internal stakeholders to optimize business processes, ensure data integrity, and deliver accurate reporting and analysis that enables informed business decisions. This position ensures activities align with Graniterockโ€™s Core Values and business objectives.

Essential Accountabilities

Comply with, understand, and promote corporate and division safety initiatives to ensure "Safety Before All Else."

Provide leadership, coaching, and professional development for assigned Business Analysts while fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Provide leadership for equipment business processes, systems, and data to ensure consistency, standardization, and alignment with company objectives.

Serve as the business owner for the Company's equipment management systems, including JD Edwards Asset Management, fleet maintenance systems and fuel management systems.

Maintain standards for equipment data quality and ensure the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of equipment information across all systems.

Provide leadership for companywide equipment work order and preventive/predictive maintenance (PPM) processes, maintaining efficient business practices, work order administration, and continuous process improvement.

Facilitate the annual Products and Services maintenance budget planning process and drive adherence to established forecasting and review practices in partnership with the Business Manager, Director of FP&A, and Operations leadership. Monitor budget-to-actual performance, support forecast updates, and identify opportunities to improve financial and productivity performance.

Partner with Procurement and Operations to coordinate maintenance project purchasing, critical spare parts planning, and project inventory requirements.

Develop, maintain, and optimize business tools, operational equipment reporting solutions, and data management processes that improve efficiency, support decision making, and provide visibility into equipment and operational performance.

Education and Work Experience
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business, Information Systems, Operations Management, Engineering, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in business analytics, asset management, maintenance operations, business systems, or related operational support functions.
  • Experience supporting equipment management, maintenance planning, work order processes, or asset management systems preferred.
  • Experience developing and improving business processes, reporting solutions, and data management practices.
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional teams, including operations, maintenance, procurement, and business leadership.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify trends, and provide insights that support informed business decisions.
  • Ability to develop, maintain, and improve business tools, reporting solutions, and automated processes that increase efficiency and data visibility.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with the Business Manager, operational leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and influencing skills with the ability to build relationships and drive alignment across teams.
  • Ability to lead process improvements, establish standards, and promote consistent use of business practices.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and experience with business reporting and data analysis tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide coaching, guidance, and development support to Business Analysts.

Salary will be determined based on the individualโ€™s knowledge, skills and experience. Ranges are aligned with market data and/or collective bargaining agreement rates.
