Job Overview

.

The Engineering/Technical Co-Op supports the Business Unit's growth initiatives through demand forecast reporting capabilities and lead management. This position works closely with Product Management, Customer Service, and Operations to identify business opportunities, analyze commercial performance, and develop reporting capabilities that drive efficiency. 

A primary responsibility of this role is leveraging historical quotes, customer demand forecasts and  publicly available to identify lead capture for growth potential and provide actionable recommendations that help customer service drive excellence, and sales to drive growth.  This position offers valuable exposure to product management, business analytics and demand forecasting within a dynamic manufacturing environment. 

A Day In The Life

.Analyze historical sales, customer quotes, and order data to identify potential leads. 

Develop reports and dashboards that track customer activity, demand forecasting and captured leads. 

Review Engineering and Sales processes to assist in automation for efficiency. 

Support Product Managers with business analysis, forecasting, and portfolio management activities. 

Collaborate with Sales and Customer Service teams to identify target accounts and market opportunities. 

Help maintain and organize customer, demand forecast and engineered design databases. 

Assist with change management, data validation, and other projects related to the company's SAP ERP transition. 

What will help you thrive in this role?

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills within Excel  

Query language experience and ability to automate 

Interest in business analytics and probability forecasting. 

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. 

Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills. 

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI preferred. 

Experience working with large data sets and business reporting tools is a plus. 

Ability to work effectively across functions and collaborate with diverse teams. 

Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Math, Business, Data Analytics, Finance, Engineering Management, or a related field. 

Prior internship, co-op, or project experience involving analytics, marketing, or business analysis is preferred.
