The Assembler position consists of documentation, assembly, electrical test, machine test and inspection.  Each assembler may be required to work on any single phase of operations at a given time.

Your responsibilities:
                                   

  • Cleaning and preparation of parts by simple chemical cleaning procedures;
  • Mounting of product with epoxy and solder;
  • Mounting of other components, e.g. hybrid sub-assemblies, with epoxy and solder;
  • Hand marking of devices;
  • Test components and assemblies once finished;
  • Sub-assembly fabrication to be used on final product;
  • Fibre optic attachment;
  • The assembler may need to use the SAP system to make certain transactions;
  • The assembler may assist the Team Leader in the training of new employees;
  • Performing other related duties as required.

 

Your qualifications:

  • Possess a High School Diploma;
  • Have experience in a manufacturing environment;
  • The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team;
  • Have good organizational skills;
  • Experience with computer data entry (an asset);
  • Good manual dexterity and visual acuity;
  • Bilingualism (French and English) an asset;
