DUTIES: Debug software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply and maintain quality standards for firm products. Develop, modify and execute software test plans, automated scripts and programs for testing. Analyze and write test standards and procedures. Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software. Analyze test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action. Consult with development engineers in resolution of problems. Provide feedback in preparation of technical appraisals of programming languages, systems and computation software. Ensure quality computer integration into the overall functions of scientific computation, data acquisition and processing. Telecommuting permitted.
REQUIREMENTS: Masters's degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field, and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Must include 5 years of experience in each of the following: Assessing international trade compliance clearance to access to ITC controlled items; Assessing regulatory compliance attributes and associated rules (agency, regulatory, environmental) as related to hardware components; Using CAD bill of material export formats (Altium, SolidWorks, Pro-E, OrCad, and MicroStation) as well as basic knowledge of generic printed circuit board export formats; Using SAP MRP user interface usage and change control processes to test systems integration between product data manager and SAP; Reviewing system software validation processes to assess product data and support application in a validated state; Designing and reviewing change control and order procurement workflows and processes related to engineering design changes and ordering of hardware; and Using Jira for documenting all user requirements, stories, and test cases, as well as all required linking for a complete traceability matrix to meet software validation requirements.
The annual compensation range for this full-time position is $125,632 to $130,000. The final base pay offered to the successful candidate will be determined by factors including internal equity, work location, as well as individual qualifications, such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
