Primary Purpose of Position
The postdoc will assist research and development of the DOD project in advancing towards next-generation. Train, teach essential UG course(s) as needed by the department.

The Department of Chemical, Biological, and Bio- Engineering offers ABET-accredited Bachelor's of Science programs in Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, and Biological Engineering, and offers Masters of Science programs in Bioengineering and Chemical Engineering. The Department has 9 full-time faculty members in engineering, 3 staff members and 3 adjunct faculty members. Major research includes the NSF Engineering Research Center for Revolutionizing Metallic Biomaterials, the CREST Bioenergy Center, the NSF RED project "A Revolution in Engineering Education Motivated by Needs and Designs," and recently-awarded grants supporting a new Biotechnology Center and Carbon Capture research.

Minimum Requirements
PhD in chemistry, chemical engr., material science engr., or equivalent fields with emphasis on electrochemical research background.
