Position Summary
The Division of Radiologic Science is recruiting for a fixed-term, faculty appointment at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor or Clinical Associate Professor.
The faculty member will have the primary responsibilities of:
* Teaching upper division undergraduate degree courses related to professional communication, leadership, research, medicolegal issues, and masters level research courses;
* Active role in leadership in the Division of Radiologic Science;
* Curriculum Director for master's degree program;
* Additional duties as assigned by Division Director.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
* Doctoral degree related to administration, healthcare, research, public health, or informatics; Applicants nearing completion of doctoral degree may be considered.
* Graduate of an accredited medical imaging program (JRCERT or JRCDMS)
* Certification in radiography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or certification in sonography by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
* Prior teaching experience in a baccalaureate medical imaging program
* Record of leadership positions in academics, healthcare, or industry
* Prior administrative experience
* Publication and presentation record at the state, regional, and national level
* Active participation in professional societies (JRCERT/JRCDMS, ARRT/ARDMS)
