We are seeking a highly skilled Mill Machinist to join a growing precision manufacturing team in Conyers, Georgia. This is a full-time, first-shift opportunity for an experienced machinist with a strong background in both manual and CNC machining operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience producing precision components, interpreting blueprints, troubleshooting equipment, and maintaining high-quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate manual and CNC milling machines, lathes, and other precision equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications
- Select proper tooling, speeds, and feed rates
- Perform quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring instruments
- Troubleshoot machining issues and perform routine machine maintenance
- Produce first articles and prototype parts
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
- Collaborate with production teams to meet quality and delivery goals
- Assist with fixture design and machining process improvements
Qualifications
- 8–10+ years of machinist experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment
- Strong experience with manual and CNC milling machines
- Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T
- Experience with precision measuring instruments
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience training or mentoring junior machinists is a plus

- Mastercam programming
- First article and prototype development
- Fixture design
- Speeds, feeds, tooling selection, and process optimization
- Experience machining steel, aluminum, and stainless steel
- Welding or fabrication experience is a plus
Schedule & Compensation
- Monday–Friday
- 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- First Shift
- Competitive pay based on experience ($20–$35/hr. DOE)
- English-speaking or bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
- Steel-toe boots and long pants required
- No per diem or travel pay available
