CNC Programmer & Operator

Pay: $20+/hour BOE
Schedule: MondayFriday, 6:00 AM3:00 PM
Job Type: Full-Time

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer & Operator to join a precision-driven stone fabrication operation specializing in custom countertops and architectural surfaces. This position will be responsible for programming, setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC equipment used to fabricate granite, marble, quartz, and other solid-surface materials.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, comfortable working with CNC machinery and programming software, and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality finished products. This is a hands-on position requiring strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a production environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program, set up, and operate CNC machinery for precision stone fabrication

  • Read and interpret measurements, drawings, digital templates, and job specifications

  • Convert design specifications into accurate CNC programs and machine operations

  • Set machine parameters, tooling, speeds, feeds, and cutting sequences as needed

  • Monitor CNC operations and make adjustments to maintain accuracy and quality

  • Inspect finished pieces for dimensional accuracy, edge profiles, cutouts, and overall quality

  • Work with granite, marble, quartz, and other countertop/solid-surface materials

  • Identify machine, tooling, or programming issues and make appropriate adjustments

  • Perform routine machine maintenance and keep the work area clean and organized

  • Follow production schedules while maintaining high standards for craftsmanship

  • Work closely with fabrication and production personnel to ensure orders are completed accurately and on schedule

  • Follow all company safety procedures and proper material-handling practices

Qualifications
  • Previous CNC programming and operating experience required

  • Experience in stone, countertop, woodworking, manufacturing, or similar fabrication environments preferred

  • Ability to read technical drawings, measurements, and specifications

  • Strong understanding of CNC machine operation and programming

  • Excellent attention to detail and quality control

  • Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work independently while also being a dependable team member

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a manufacturing environment

  • Ability to safely handle materials and perform physical job duties as required
