Reports To: Supply Chain Manager

Role Type: Site-Level Execution Leader

Position Summary

The Master Scheduler is responsible for owning the executable production schedule and backlog integrity for the Naples site. This role translates released demand into a feasible, capacity-aligned production plan, ensures schedule adherence, and provides early visibility to delivery risks.

The Master Scheduler serves as the central coordination point between Planning, Operations, Purchasing, and Customer Service to ensure material readiness, schedule stability, and on-time delivery performance. This role does not own demand forecasting or customer order entry but is accountable for schedule feasibility and execution performance.

Key ResponsibilitiesBacklog Ownership & Health
  • Own open sales order backlog integrity and visibility
  • Monitor past-due and at-risk orders
  • Identify chronic push-outs and backlog aging trends
  • Maintain accurate schedule and order data in ERP
Master Production Scheduling
  • Translate released demand into an executable production schedule
  • Sequence and prioritize work orders based on commit dates, capacity constraints, and material readiness
  • Maintain schedule stability within defined frozen windows
  • Balance load across constrained resources
Capacity & Constraint Management
  • Conduct daily and weekly load vs capacity analysis
  • Identify bottlenecks and constraint risks
  • Lead recovery planning during constrained periods
  • Align with Operations on feasible execution plans
Execution Monitoring
  • Track schedule adherence and completion vs plan
  • Identify deviations and root cause drivers
  • Reduce expedite frequency through disciplined scheduling
  • Drive continuous improvement in schedule performance
Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Communicate delivery risk proactively to Customer Service
  • Align with Buyer on material shortages impacting schedule
  • Partner with Planning on structural demand misalignment
