Job description

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Safety Care Trainer to coordinate and deliver Safety Care training programs for new and current staff. This role is responsible for scheduling and facilitating training sessions, managing enrollments, maintaining certification records, processing certifications, and supporting compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule, coordinate, and conduct Safety Care training courses.
  • Manage class registrations, attendance, and training records.
  • Process certifications and monitor recertification requirements.
  • Maintain accurate compliance and training documentation.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance regarding Safety Care practices.
  • Complete administrative tasks to ensure smooth training operations.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent form two year college or technical school or six months to one year related Administrative Assistant experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and Administrative Assistant experience preferred.
  • Experience in the education field is required.
  • Experience with behavioral needs is required.
  • Previous training, teaching, or staff development experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of behavioral skills and behavior management strategies.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to engage learners and facilitate effective training sessions.
  • Proficient with documentation, recordkeeping, and basic computer applications.
Schedule
  • Hours will vary based on training needs.
  • Must be available to work evening and weekend hours as needed.
