Job description

Provides direct patient care in collaboration with specific physicians to a selected group of patients. The ARNP is an advanced practice nurse, clinically expert in patient care, who can provide a high standard of care to all patients, following an established protocol with a physician(s). This includes but is not limited to medical diagnosis, treatment, prescription, teaching and mentoring new members of the health care team. The ARNP will perform a patient assessment to include medical history and physical exam and develop an appropriate plan of care in the direct management of patients with acute and chronic illnesses. The ARNP works directly with staff, administration, patients and families to ensure quality care across the continuum. The ARNP integrates evidence-based practice and technological advances into scope of practice. Additionally, the ARNP participates in the collection of research data, quality improvement, discharge planning and coordination of patient care within the area of practice.Estimated pay range for this position is $72.00 / hour depending on shift as applicable.Degrees:
  • Masters.
Licenses & Certifications:
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support.
  • Advanced Practice Registered Nurse.
  • Basic Life Support.
Additional Qualifications:
  • 5 years acute care nursing experience.
  • *Required education is Master Science Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) preferred.
