A Master Production Planner works closely with both supply chain and manufacturing teams to develop, communicate, and adjust production schedules based on demand forecasts and material availability. They regularly coordinate with procurement to address any shortages or delays in raw materials, and with manufacturing supervisors to monitor production progress and resolve bottlenecks. This role often acts as a central point of communication to align inventory levels, production priorities, and delivery timelines, ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled efficiently while minimizing excess inventory.
