What is a master plumber license?

A Master Plumber License is a certification granted by a state or local authority that allows an individual to work as a master plumber. This license signifies that the holder has met specific education, experience, and examination requirements to oversee plumbing work, design systems, and supervise other plumbers. Master plumbers are authorized to pull permits, run plumbing businesses, and ensure projects comply with local codes and regulations. The requirements for obtaining a Master Plumber License vary by state, but generally involve several years of experience as a journeyman plumber and passing a comprehensive exam.

What can you do as a master plumber license?

A master plumber license authorizes individuals to design, install, repair, and inspect plumbing systems independently. It allows for supervising other plumbers, obtaining permits, and managing plumbing projects in compliance with local codes and regulations.
