Position at JAC Products
JAC Products is seeking a an experienced Master Maintenance Technician to join our team in Shelby Twp., MI. As a Master Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting equipment issues, performing repairs, ensuring preventive maintenance is completed safely and efficiently and the training and development of Maintenance Technicians.
Your Contributions:
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and robotic equipment.
  • Program and troubleshoot PLC systems.
  • Responsible for maintaining, setting up and operating machinery equipment including lathe mill, surface grinder, etc.
  • Assist with equipment installations and improvement projects.
  • Advanced fabrication of parts and equipment.
  • Maintain parts inventory for common replaceable items and daily recordkeeping within JAC Products computer maintenance management software (CMMS).
  • Train, mentor and support Maintenance Technicians.
What You'll Need:
  • 10+ years of industrial maintenance experience (preferred)
  • Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Experience with robotics and automated manufacturing equipment preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Ability to use various types of tools including volt-meter and equipment necessary (manual, electric, pneumatic and hydraulic)
  • Effective communication and problem solving skills
