Description
Point University is seeking part-time instructors to teach Mathematics for its DCE programs at partner schools in the Atlanta Metro area. Copies of graduate transcripts are required for applications to be considered.
Point University is a private liberal arts institution that educates our students within a Christian worldview, so they are equipped to take their faith into the marketplace and all of life while achieving their professional goals. We are training the next generation of Christian leaders to take the cross to more job sites, churches, industries, and nations than ever before.
Primary teaching responsibilities may include:
  • MTH 113: Intermediate Algebra
  • MTH 120: College Algebra
  • MTH 191: Pre-Calculus
  • Other courses within the discipline/subject

Requirements
  • Master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours in Mathematics; doctorate preferred.
  • Effective teaching ability/excellent communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to teach college-level courses to high school students in a dual-enrollment setting preferred.
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Prior teaching experience at the collegiate level preferred.
  • Experience with Canvas LMS preferred
  • Willingness to be a professional role model and mentor.
  • Commitment to undergraduate education, professional growth, service, and scholarship in a distinctively Christian setting, including agreement with the University's mission and goals, values, and doctrinal statement.
