Job description

Electrical Engineer
Location: Cincinnati or Toledo, OH
Employment Type: Full-Time
For over 70 years Fishbeck has been building. As a 100% employee-owned firm, every team member has a stake in what we build together-our work, our reputation, and our future. Now we need to add an Electrical Engineer to help us keep building.
Working with our Electrical Engineering team, you willwork on a large variety of projects with several multidisciplinary professionals.
What You'll Do
  • Develop technical and construction documentation
  • Design and support electrical and building systems
  • Conduct site visits and gather field data
  • Coordinate with clients and project stakeholders
  • Provide construction administration and project support
  • Review and prepare engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications
  • Support projects from planning and design through construction
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams
  • Manage project tasks and deliverables
  • Ensure quality and accuracy of engineering designs and documentation

What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (BSEE or equivalent)
  • Knowledge of the Architectural/Engineering (A/E) consulting business.
  • Experience designing electrical systems for water and wastewater facilities.
  • Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) or working towards licensure.
  • Familiarity with the National Electrical Code, International Building Codes, and Energy Codes.
  • Proficient with AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Design Master Electrical, Microsoft Office products, Easy Power arc flash hazard analysis software, and lighting design software.
