Job Purpose/Overview

The SC Excellence Assistant Manager is responsible for driving data-driven decision-making and operational excellence within the Royal Canin Korea supply chain. This role supports OGSM execution by managing key supply chain data, ensuring accuracy and consistency in reporting, and enhancing digital capabilities for continuous improvement. The position focuses on E2E data analysis, KPI reporting, and advanced analytics to optimize cost efficiency and service levels.

Key Responsibilities

Product Master Data Management
  • Create the item code and manage all aspects of product master data, ensuring accuracy, consistency (incl. label master)
  • Ensure compliance with global and regional supply chain data governance standards.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve data governance and streamline data-related processes.
Reporting and Dashboard
  • Responsible for consolidating periodic KPI reports and representing as SPOC to region and SCMR
  • Co-create, develop and maintain Supply Chain KPI dashboards, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on KPI trends and analysis.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging data-driven decision-making.
Cost to Serve & LCC Reporting
  • Conduct Cost-to-Serve analysis to optimize supply chain costs and enhance profitability.
  • Conduct Logistics Conversion Cost (LCC) reporting, support cost optimization strategies and identify areas for cost savings and operational enhancements.
  • Support financial planning and budget alignment with cost-to-serve insights.
Data Management, Advanced Analytics & Digitalization
  • Drive digital transformation initiatives in supply chain processes through advanced analytics and automation.
  • Utilize data science tools to generate actionable insights that improve operational efficiency.
  • Support the development of predictive analytics models for E2E and enhance automation in SC reporting and dashboard visualization.
Key User to Cube
  • Act as the primary contact for Cube-related data and reporting.
  • Ensure smooth system integration and troubleshooting for data discrepancies.
  • Provide training and support to other team members on Cube functionalities.
Quality Champion / Supply Chain
  • Drive Mars Distribution Quality Management System (QMS) and compliance to supply chain E2E processes
  • Ensure compliance with quality management standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with quality teams to enhance supply chain processes.
  • Lead audits and quality improvement projects related to supply chain performance.
  • Follow-up with findings from the audit and proactivey work on CAPA.
Context and Scope

The role ensures data accuracy, visibility, and process efficiency across the supply chain. Works cross-functionally with operations, finance, IT, and quality teams to implement best practices. Supports digitalization and analytics to drive supply chain excellence.

Job Specifications/Qualifications

Education & Professional Qualifications

Knowledge / Experience
  • Strong analytical and data management skills with experience in KPI reporting.
  • Hands-on experience with supply chain analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Cube, SAP, etc.).
  • Knowledge of Cost to Serve models and logistics cost reporting.
  • Experience in digitalization projects and advanced analytics is preferred.
