JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a hands-on highly skilled and experienced Global Master Data Coordinator to support and coordinate global master data operations, governance, analytics, and process execution across business functions during the SAP S/4HANA implementation and ongoing operations. This role is responsible for helping maintain the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of master data, including material/product, customer, supplier, finance, and bill of materials (BOM) data across North America while collaborating with global teams to promote standardized processes. The position works closely with cross-functional stakeholders to support digital transformation initiatives, data quality, and reporting needs by applying knowledge of SAP, CRM, and master data management practices, along with strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.

Requirements

Data Leadership & Governance

  • Coordinate the implementation of master data standards, governance processes, policies, and procedures to support organizational objectives.
  • Partner with business process owners, regional teams, and IT to help maintain consistent master data quality and support aligned processes across U.S. and APAC regions.
  • Organize and facilitate cross-regional master data meetings and working groups, track action items, assist with resolving data issues, and support alignment with business priorities.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track master data quality, compliance, and governance effectiveness.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to master data quality, compliance, and governance, identifying trends and escalating issues as needed.

Implementation & Transformation

  • Coordinate master data activities for SAP S/4HANA, CRM, and related system implementations, supporting data modeling, cleansing, enrichment, migration, validation, and go-live readiness.
  • Collaborate with SAP functional and technical teams, system integrators, and data stewards to ensure seamless data flows and integrity during design, testing, and deployment phases.
  • Support the migration of master data from legacy systems to SAP S/4HANA by assisting with data mapping, validation, and cutover activities.
  • Participate in SAP testing cycles, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and integration testing, by validating master data, identifying data quality issues, documenting defects, and supporting process improvements.

Process & Data Quality Management

  • Support the development and maintenance of master data processes, including data creation, change management, hierarchy management, governance checkpoints, and data retirement procedures.
  • Coordinate the use of master data tools, workflows, and automation solutions (e.g., SAP MDG, SAP Data Intelligence, or equivalent) to promote data quality and streamline business processes.
  • Collaborate with analytics and business intelligence teams to support accurate master data for operational reporting, dashboards, and analytical initiatives.
  • Assist with continuous improvement efforts by identifying process enhancements, monitoring data quality trends, and supporting initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce processing times.

Stakeholder Management & Communication

  • Collaborate with project stakeholders and business leaders to provide updates on master data activities, identify risks, and support project objectives.
  • Work with regional and functional teams to gather business requirements, document data standards, and assist in implementing scalable master data solutions.
  • Develop and deliver training materials, process documentation, and user support resources to promote consistent adoption of master data practices across project teams.

KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

Technical Skills

  • Strong functional knowledge of SAP master data domains including Material / Product/ Customer/ Supplier/ Finance, as well as SAP S/4HANA and MDG capabilities.
  • Experience with data migration tools, data integration, and transformation frameworks (e.g., SAP BODS, LTMC, Signavio, SAP Information Steward).
  • Proficiency in data quality, data modeling, and data lifecycle management best practices.
  • Analytical mindset with demonstrated experience working with data analytics, reporting, and predictive modeling capabilities.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Data Science, Business, Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in master data management roles with SAP S/4HANA implementations.
  • Demonstrated success in master data coordination, SAP MDG and SAP ERP environments, preferably within manufacturing or supply chain contexts.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master's Degree Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Data Science, Business, Engineering, or related field
  • Certification in SAP MDG, SAP S/4HANA, PMP, or associated master data/data governance credentials.
  • Experience with chemical or manufacturing processes and understanding of industry-specific compliance and data requirements.
  • Prior experience managing remote and multi-cultural teams.
