Job description

Victory Solutions is a wholly owned subsidiary of Dynamo Technologies. Victory Solutions is a Small Disadvantaged Business providing quality technical and engineering services to NASA, the DoD, Industry and academia.
We are looking for a mid to senior career Information and Data Management (IDM) professional with demonstrated skills in metadata and content management, access controls and management, and information systems development/management to support the Space Launch System (SLS) Program at NASA/Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, AL to start soon! This is a full-time onsite position.
The successful candidate will have the expertise necessary to collaborate with tool developers and end users to integrate a seamless data architecture system across an enterprise. Additionally, this position will support the management of design analysis data and data exchanges between various technical organizations and other programs in support of SLS. A key component of this position is the understanding and expertise related to handling and managing access to sensitive data such as Proprietary, Export Controlled, or Limited Rights data. Relevant experience in the development, administration, and usage of electronic Product Data Management (PDM) systems such as PTC Windchill, and Portal tools such as MS SharePoint, Liferay or Confluence Wiki is required. Successful performance in this position requires initiative and expertise to maintain appropriate data availability while meeting NASA/MSFC security requirements.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Interface with SLS and cross-program personnel (particularly in the area of Design Analysis) to support data accessibility and sharing via the provided suite of tools/systems.
  • Support the SLS Configuration and Data Management (CDM) Office in design analysis data process implementations relative to data exchange and storage.
  • Perform integration and/or analysis of data, products, and systems tools as requested.
  • Develop and maintain collaborative portals and wikis to support customer requirements.
  • Create process/work instructions for both end users and administrators of various tools.
  • Create/maintain process work instructions for design analysis data exchange.
  • Interface with personnel at MSFC and other Centers to support data exchange and processing.
  • Manage access to data and work areas in electronic tools and libraries.
  • Participate in audits of program data as requested.

Job Specifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 10 years of applicable experience is required, to include knowledge of information and data management tools or systems. The following may be substituted for the Bachelor's Degree requirement: Associates Degree and 12 yrs experience -or- High School Diploma and 14 yrs experience.
  • A Master's degree may be substituted for 3 yrs of experience.
  • Working knowledge of Information Technology (IT)/automated data management tools is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Excel, PowerPoint and ACCESS (or similar database) is highly desired.
  • Proficiency in Wiki development and Windchill administration highly desired.
  • Experience with Liferay or SharePoint Portal development highly desired.
  • Ability to balance two different tasks on a daily basis required.
  • Experience with Jira is highly desired.
  • Experience with handling sensitive data is desired.

Additional Requirements:
  • Ability to obtain clearance/access onsite at NASA MSFC is required (requires a STAR ID for badging).
  • US Citizenship required.
