Overview
TEKsystems is seeking experienced Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to support a high-visibility federal initiative focused on data governance, artificial intelligence governance, and AI integration. We are actively seeking professionals with expertise in one or more of the following areas:
Data Governance SME
AI Governance SME
AI Integration SME
This position supports enterprise modernization efforts involving data strategy, responsible AI adoption, governance frameworks, and integration of AI capabilities across mission systems.
Location
Huntsville, AL
Clearance Requirement
Active Secret clearance required Active Top Secret clearance preferred
Responsibilities
Depending on specialty area, responsibilities may include:
Data Governance SME
Develop and mature enterprise data governance frameworks.
Establish data quality, stewardship, metadata, and lifecycle management processes.
Support data cataloging, compliance, and governance initiatives.
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to improve data management practices.
AI Governance SME
Develop AI governance policies, standards, and controls.
Ensure responsible and ethical AI implementation.
Support compliance with federal AI policies and risk management frameworks.
Evaluate AI systems for transparency, accountability, and security considerations.
AI Integration SME
Lead integration of AI/ML capabilities within enterprise environments.
Partner with data engineers, architects, and business teams to operationalize AI solutions.
Support system interoperability, automation, and workflow modernization initiatives.
Provide guidance on AI implementation best practices and emerging technologies.
Qualifications
7+ years of relevant professional experience
Experience supporting federal government or DoD environments
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Experience developing strategies, frameworks, policies, or technical implementations within area of expertise
Bachelor's degree preferred
Active security clearance
Preferred Skills
DoD or Federal experience
Experience with AI/ML technologies
Data governance tools and frameworks
NIST AI Risk Management Framework
Data management, analytics, or cloud modernization initiatives
PMP, CDMP, CISM, CISSP, or AI-related certifications
