Job description

We are seeking an MDM Data Quality & Cleansing Specialist to support enterprise Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives through data remediation, cleansing, and quality improvement efforts. This role is responsible for resolving data exceptions, maintaining accurate master data, and supporting data governance standards across key business domains.
Key Responsibilities
  • Review and remediate fallout records generated through MDM match/merge processes.
  • Perform data cleansing activities including standardization, deduplication, formatting corrections, and validation.
  • Investigate recurring data quality issues and identify root causes.
  • Validate entity resolution and survivorship outcomes in accordance with business rules.
  • Monitor data quality reports, dashboards, and exception queues.
  • Collaborate with Data Governance, Data Stewards, and business stakeholders to resolve data issues.
  • Document remediation activities and maintain audit trails to support compliance requirements.
Qualifications
Required:
  • 2+ years of experience in Master Data Management (MDM), Data Governance, Data Quality, or related data operations.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, filtering, and data cleansing techniques.
  • Experience working with MDM platforms such as Informatica or similar solutions.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to interpret business rules, matching logic, and data governance standards.

Preferred:
  • Experience with match/merge or entity resolution workflows.
  • Basic SQL knowledge and data querying experience.
  • Familiarity with data governance frameworks and metadata management.
