Job description

Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Product Lead / Product Owner specializing in Master Data Management (MDM), Reference Data, and Customer 360 (C360) to drive enterprise-wide data initiatives.
This role focuses on defining MDM strategy, product roadmap, use cases, and data governance frameworks, while enabling a unified, high-quality view of customer and reference data across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with MDM platforms, Salesforce, Collibra, and Reference 360, and will work closely with business, data, and technology teams to deliver scalable, governed data solutions.
Responsibilities
Business Prioritization, Use Case Inventory & Roadmap
  • Drive MDM/C360 requirements and design aligned with business goals.
  • Establish domain-driven data strategies across Customer, Party, and Reference Data.
  • Lead roadmap prioritization based on business value, operational needs, and identified data quality gaps in the MDM platform based on systems of record.
  • Lead conversations with business stakeholders to identify and quantify opportunities.
  • Align strategy across MDM, C360 consumers (batch, real-time, and analytics use cases), and governance initiatives.
  • Evaluate vendor and home-grown solutions for Reference Data and Customer 360.

Business Analysis & Use Case Development
  • Gather and document business requirements and MDM use cases across C360, Reference 360, and Data Governance.
  • Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
  • Define Customer 360 use cases, including:
  • Single Customer View
  • Cross-channel analytics
  • Customer Onboarding & KYC
  • Duplicate management and match-merge
  • Create process and source-to-target mappings, data flows, process models, MDM data model documentation, and business glossaries.

Customer 360 (C360) & Stakeholder Outreach
  • Support and drive Customer 360 implementation efforts.
  • Identify and document MDM consumption use cases across business functions.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to enable trusted and accurate customer data.

Data Governance
  • Define data ownership and stewardship models.
  • Establish and maintain business glossary and metadata management standards.
  • Document data lineage and support data cataloging efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with data policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.

Reference Data Management (Ref360)
  • Define and manage reference data domains using Reference 360.
  • Standardize code sets, hierarchies, and cross-system mappings.
  • Ensure consistency of reference data across all enterprise systems.

Data Quality & Stewardship
  • Define and refine data quality rules across MDM and reference data domains.
  • Drive resolution of data issues through governance workflows.
  • Work with stewardship teams to validate data corrections and improve data completeness and consistency.

Data Platform & Snowflake Integration
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to review data models for MDM/C360.
  • Review and understand data integration pipelines.
  • Ensure optimized data ingestion, processing, and consumption layers.
  • Support analytics and reporting use cases built on the data platform.

Stakeholder Management
  • Act as a bridge between business users, data engineers, and governance teams.
  • Lead workshops, demos, and requirements sessions.
  • Communicate complex data concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Testing & Validation
  • Define test strategies for data ingestion, mastering, and data flows.
  • Validate initial load and incremental processing, match & merge outcomes, and data synchronization.
  • Support reconciliation between source systems, MDM, and downstream consumers.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Data Management, Data Analytics OR High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Data Management, Data Analytics
Core MDM Expertise
  • 15+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Data Management, or MDM.
  • Strong experience with Customer/Party MDM (Individual & Non-Individual), including match & merge rules (deterministic and probabilistic) and golden record creation.
  • Proven background in the Banking or Financial Services domain.

Tools & Platforms
  • Required: MDM platforms such as Informatica, Reltio, or IBM MDM.
  • Strong SQL proficiency (required).
  • Reference Data Management (Ref360) and Collibra for Data Governance, cataloging, and lineage.
  • Snowflake (data warehousing and cloud data platform) - nice to have.

Data & Analytics
  • Strong understanding of data modeling (logical & physical), data quality frameworks, and data lineage and metadata management.
  • Experience in supporting or building enterprise data warehouses.
  • Experience with Customer 360 analytics and reporting.

Business & Domain Knowledge
  • Banking, Financial Services, or enterprise domain experience (preferred).
  • Familiarity with customer data domains: Party, Address, Contact, and Hierarchy.
  • Knowledge of KYC and Compliance frameworks (preferred).

Soft Skills
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
  • Ability to drive enterprise-scale initiatives independently.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience with enterprise data transformation programs.
  • Exposure to cloud ecosystems such as Azure or AWS.
