The Master Data Maintainer is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the integrity of enterprise asset management (EAM) data, supporting operations and maintenance teams, and ensuring accurate site and equipment records. This role involves creating and updating functional locations, researching and updating cost centers, performing site audits and reconciliations, and communicating findings to materials control. The Master Data Maintainer will also support compression equipment data management, review and update 3rd party monthly compressor fleet info and ad hoc reports, maintain site facility diagrams, and process well status changes.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Site Audits & Reconciliation:
    Conduct site audits, reconcile findings in SAP, and communicate discrepancies and resolutions to materials control and relevant stakeholders.
  • Data Quality Management:
    Access the EAM enterprise data quality system to review reports highlighting poor data quality, with a particular focus on functional locations. The Master Data Maintainer is responsible for routinely identifying and correcting data quality issues flagged by the system, as well as responding to ad hoc data and report requests.
  • Third-Party Equipment Data Management:
    Receive monthly reports from designated third-party companies containing details on equipment price, terms, and movement dates. Review the submitted information for accuracy and completeness, and update SAP to ensure all equipment records reflect the latest data. Address any discrepancies by coordinating with vendors and internal stakeholders, and maintain accurate, up-to-date master data for third-party equipment.
  • Functional Location Management:
    Create, update, and maintain functional locations in SAP to ensure accurate asset tracking and reporting.
  • Cost Center Research & Updates:
    Research, validate, and update cost center assignments to support financial accuracy and operational efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
    Serve as a liaison with operations and maintenance teams to ensure data accuracy and resolve issues.
  • Site Facility Diagrams:
    Maintain and update site facility diagrams to reflect current operational status, equipment, process flows, and required regulatory information.
  • Well Status Changes:
    Process well status changes, ensuring updates to functional locations and associated equipment records.

Qualifications:
  • Experience with SAP or similar EAM/ERP systems is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and data management skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on data quality and process improvement.
  • Experience in oil & gas operations or industrial asset management preferred.
