Job description

The Cross-Sector Data Department helps define and implement data management processes, allowing optimal and secure use of data for the benefit of members and clients, with compliance rules, privacy, privacy policies and security in mind. As an MDM Analyst - Cross-Sector Data, you help teams recognize and manage data as a strategic asset. You propose recommendations on data use and compliance with governance documents that apply to data, based on the teams' needs and the organization's objectives. You support practitioners with master data and cross-sector data management. More specifically, you will be required to:


  • Identify, collect, enter and analyze master and reference data in the relevant tools and ensure they are up to date
  • Maintain data documentation in the appropriate tools to maximize data usage
  • Ensure the sound management and quality of the data under your responsibility
  • Proactively validate data accuracy and facilitate corrective actions by using your analytical skills and knowledge of business areas to help troubleshoot and resolve problems
  • Research, analyze and investigate data from various authoritative sources to confirm data quality and detect problematic cases
  • Help continually improve processes for managing member/client data and data quality
  • Implement practices and mechanisms to ensure compliance with the governance documents that apply to data
  • Prioritize user requests, follow up and complete them
  • Propose validation methods for large datasets
  • Help measure and monitor the performance of the standards and practices in place, including changes in data governance maturity
