Job description

Schedule: PRN – Minimum 3 shifts per month - Flexible Hours & Scheduling – Monday to Friday – 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Location: Based out of our Grand Forks office, this will have a 40 mile travel radius around Grand Forks.

      As a PRN Massage Therapist, you would play a vital role in providing individualized music interventions that support emotional, spiritual, and physical well-being for patients and their families. Through your talent, compassion, and collaborative approach, you’ll create moments of peace, presence, and comfort for those navigating hospice care. You’ll work closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure that care plans are personalized, meaningful, and rooted in dignity.

      Job Responsibilities:

      • Provide consistent, professional massage and body treatments in accordance with Hospice protocols and accepted certification practices
      • Handle patient questions and concerns professionally and courteously
      • Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment
      • Thoroughly chart all visits through Homecare Homebase
      • Communicate schedules with patient's families
      • Create a consistent schedule of visits for each patient
      • Communicates with the rest of the care team on each patient's condition

      Hospice Massage Therapist Requirements :

      • Independent Massage License required
      • A minimum of 3 years of therapeutic massage required
      • Ability to provide proof of Professional Liability Insurance
      • College Degree Preferred
      • MBLEX Completion Preferred
      • Experience in health care or hospice setting preferred
      • Experience with geriatric population preferred
      • Ability to accept different lifestyles, cultures, beliefs, and values
      • Proficiency with computers
      • Possesses and maintains current CPR certification.
      • Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state/or organization requirements and is in good working order.
