Job description

The Brick Mason - Cement Finisher - Laborer role involves skilled masonry and concrete work on both commercial and residential projects. This position covers brick, block, stone, and chimney masonry as well as flatwork concrete finishing, including exposed aggregate and stamped concrete. Candidates will assist in new construction and repair tasks, while supporting efficient job site operations by supplying tools and materials. The role requires work under supervision, leading small teams, or working independently, with some travel to various job sites and occasional overtime during peak periods.

Responsibilities

  • Perform bricklaying and block masonry for new construction and repairs
  • Finish concrete surfaces including flatwork, exposed aggregate, and stamped concrete
  • Carry out chimney masonry and stone masonry projects
  • Conduct masonry and concrete repairs as needed
  • Prepare job sites and handle material delivery
  • Provide masons with tools and materials to maintain workflow
  • Adhere to safety protocols on all job sites
