Stonebrook is seeking a skilled Mason to add the Masonry team. A Mason is responsible for building and repairing structures made of brick, block, stone, and other materials. This role requires precision, craftsmanship, and knowledge of construction techniques to ensure the structural integrity and aesthetic quality of masonry work.


Essential Job Functions

  • Lay bricks, concrete blocks, stones, and other masonry materials to construct or repair walls, partitions, arches, and other structures.
  • Mix mortar or grout and spread it onto a slab or foundation.
  • Cut and shape materials to fit specific measurements using hand and power tools.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Ensure alignment, level, and plumb of masonry units using levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges.
  • Repair and maintain existing masonry structures by replacing damaged sections or repointing mortar joints.
  • Clean surfaces and remove excess mortar or debris.
  • Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to complete projects efficiently.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Preferred Talents

  • Proven experience as a mason or bricklayer.
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
  • Attention to detail and craftsmanship.
  • Certification in masonry or construction safety (e.g., OSHA 10/30).
