Experienced Mason - Learn Historic Restoration & Lime Mortar Systems
The Durable Restoration Company is hiring experienced masons to join a specialized historic restoration team working on stone, masonry, and preservation projects across federal, military, and historic sites. This is a skilled trade role that builds long-term expertise in historic restoration masonry.

About Durable Restoration
Durable Restoration is a specialized historic preservation contractor focused on restoring stone, masonry, and architectural structures across federal, military, and historic sites. 
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON: 
  • Work on the restoration and preservation of historic masonry and stone structures
  • Perform repointing and repair of aging masonry systems
  • Work with lime-based mortars and specialty restoration materials
  • Contribute to federal, military, and historic preservation projects
  • Hands-on craftsmanship on long-lasting, visible structures
PREFERRED TRAITS:
  • Experience in repointing or masonry repair (historic mortar experience is a plus—we will train the right candidates)
  • Carpentry, metal work, roofing skills are a plus
  • Historic mortar experience is not required—we provide full training in restoration techniques.
COMPENSATION: 
  • $20-$40/hr. based on experience and skill progression
  • Pay increases based on performance

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
