Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate and understand patients' needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused approaches.
• Provide one-on-one and group therapy, guiding patients through their therapeutic journeys.
• Facilitate psychoeducational groups that address prevalent mental health concerns, fostering support and community.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and fellow therapists to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Respond promptly to mental health crises and provide crisis intervention services as needed.
• Educate patients about their mental health conditions, treatment alternatives, and community support resources.
• Ensure accurate and confidential documentation of patient interactions in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards.
• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and continuous professional development initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population is diverse, encompassing individuals from various backgrounds dealing with an array of mental health issues. You will be expected to provide culturally competent care to patients from different demographics, helping to address their unique challenges and fostering an environment of support and healing.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas is essential.
• A deep understanding of mental health disorders and a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
• Strong assessment skills with a proven ability to develop effective treatment plans tailored to individual patients.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that foster trust and rapport with clients.
• Expertise in electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain accurate patient documentation.
• A commitment to upholding ethical standards and professional boundaries.
• The ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a community mental health setting or outpatient clinic.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote therapy techniques.
• Demonstrated history of delivering group therapy and psychoeducational programming.
• A background in evidence-based therapeutic techniques and current trends in mental health research.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary range between USD 80,000 and 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
