As a remote member of our outpatient counseling team, you will have the flexibility to create a work-life balance that suits your lifestyle while engaging actively in virtual treatment sessions. You will collaborate with colleagues across various disciplines, including psychiatrists and social workers, to provide holistic care tailored to individuals, couples, families, and groups.

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations to formulate personalized treatment plans that address client challenges effectively.
• Deliver suitable evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Engage in regular collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to discuss case management and ensure a cohesive treatment approach.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of clinical records, upholding ethical standards and legal regulations to protect client confidentiality and integrity.
• Keep abreast of the latest research and developments in mental health therapy, participating in ongoing professional development through workshops and training sessions.

The clients you will serve range from children to adults facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your ability to forge trusting relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds will be crucial in addressing their unique needs and fostering a supportive environment for growth.

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
• At least 2 years of relevant counseling experience in clinical or community settings.
• Strong familiarity with ethical guidelines and legal requirements pertaining to professional counseling practice.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to establish rapport and secure client trust.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and virtual care platforms.

• Specialization in trauma-informed care, substance abuse, family therapy, or couples counseling is highly preferred.
• Experience working in a community health clinic or similar environment that serves a diverse population.

• Annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, based on caseload and experience.
