The Mind Marvel Institute is actively seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dedicated team at our remote detox center located in Aurora, Colorado. This role is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to manage your schedule while providing crucial services to a vulnerable population. • Conduct thorough mental health assessments for clients entering the detox center, considering their substance use history, mental health status, and existing support systems.
• Collaborate with clients to design personalized treatment plans that reflect their goals, addressing both psychological and emotional challenges while facilitating recovery.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities—such as motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT)—to provide effective interventions tailored to each client's needs.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, fostering a safe space for clients to share experiences, learn coping strategies, and build supportive relationships with peers.
• Coordinate care with psychiatrists, addiction specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive treatment for clients.
• Provide crisis intervention and emergency support, utilizing de-escalation techniques and making referrals to higher levels of care when necessary.
• Deliver psychoeducation to clients and their families, empowering them to understand addiction, mental health conditions, and the resources available in the community.
• Maintain precise and up-to-date documentation of all assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, ensuring compliance with legal guidelines and ethical standards.
• Engage in continuous professional development by participating in team meetings, training workshops, and case conferences.
• Stay informed about the latest developments in mental health laws, regulations, and best practices relevant to detox and addiction treatment.

This role is focused on serving individuals seeking detoxification and recovery from substance use disorders. Clients come to us with various backgrounds and experiences, and it is essential to approach each case with cultural competence and empathy. • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• Current and valid LCSW licensure in the state of Colorado.
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, ideally within mental health or addiction treatment settings.
• Strong knowledge of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and theories of addiction.
• Proven experience in conducting assessments, diagnosing conditions, and formulating effective treatment strategies.
• Experience in leading therapy sessions, both individually and in groups, using various therapeutic approaches.
• Excellent crisis intervention skills, maintaining a calm demeanor in high-pressure situations.
• Exceptional communication skills, building rapport with clients and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong ethical judgment, maintaining professional boundaries while advocating for clients’ needs.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and a proficiency in using communication tools for remote work.

• Experience working in a detox or addiction treatment facility.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care principles and practice.
• Knowledge of local community resources and support services for individuals in recovery.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
