The Mind Marvel Institute is actively seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dedicated team at our remote detox center located in Aurora, Colorado. This full-time position is uniquely designed for professionals who are adept at delivering high-quality mental health support in a rapidly evolving healthcare environment. Your expertise will play a crucial role in enhancing the lives of individuals facing addiction and mental health challenges, fostering recovery, and helping them navigate their path toward wellness.

About the Organization

At Mind Marvel Institute, we pride ourselves on creating a supportive and innovative environment that prioritizes comprehensive mental health care. Our detox center is committed to providing integrated services tailored to the diverse needs of individuals undergoing treatment. We believe that empathetic, accessible, and high-quality care is essential in promoting recovery. Our multidisciplinary team actively collaborates to ensure that each individual receives the holistic support they need through every stage of their recovery journey.

Work Environment

This role is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to manage your schedule while providing crucial services to a vulnerable population. You will be part of a collaborative virtual team of professionals, ensuring seamless communication and effective treatment planning. Our work culture is centered around mutual respect, ongoing learning, and the shared goal of improving patient outcomes. Regular meetings will be held to discuss cases, share insights, and enhance team dynamics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments for clients entering the detox center, considering their substance use history, mental health status, and existing support systems.
  • Collaborate with clients to design personalized treatment plans that reflect their goals, addressing both psychological and emotional challenges while facilitating recovery.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalitiesโ€”such as motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT)โ€”to provide effective interventions tailored to each client's needs.
  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, fostering a safe space for clients to share experiences, learn coping strategies, and build supportive relationships with peers.
  • Coordinate care with psychiatrists, addiction specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive treatment for clients.
  • Provide crisis intervention and emergency support, utilizing de-escalation techniques and making referrals to higher levels of care when necessary.
  • Deliver psychoeducation to clients and their families, empowering them to understand addiction, mental health conditions, and the resources available in the community.
  • Maintain precise and up-to-date documentation of all assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, ensuring compliance with legal guidelines and ethical standards.
  • Engage in continuous professional development by participating in team meetings, training workshops, and case conferences.
  • Stay informed about the latest developments in mental health laws, regulations, and best practices relevant to detox and addiction treatment.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role is focused on serving individuals seeking detoxification and recovery from substance use disorders. Clients come to us with various backgrounds and experiences, and it is essential to approach each case with cultural competence and empathy. The supportive environment we strive to create is invaluable in promoting healing and reintegration into the community.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
  • Current and valid LCSW licensure in the state of Colorado.
  • A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, ideally within mental health or addiction treatment settings.
  • Strong knowledge of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and theories of addiction.
  • Proven experience in conducting assessments, diagnosing conditions, and formulating effective treatment strategies.
  • Experience in leading therapy sessions, both individually and in groups, using various therapeutic approaches.
  • Excellent crisis intervention skills, maintaining a calm demeanor in high-pressure situations.
  • Exceptional communication skills, building rapport with clients and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong ethical judgment, maintaining professional boundaries while advocating for clientsโ€™ needs.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and a proficiency in using communication tools for remote work.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in a detox or addiction treatment facility.
  • Familiarity with trauma-informed care principles and practice.
  • Knowledge of local community resources and support services for individuals in recovery.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to the base salary, employees are eligible for a comprehensive health benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a retirement savings plan with employer-matching contributions. Our generous paid time off (PTO) policy, with holiday pay, offers a good work-life balance. We provide professional liability insurance and ongoing support for continuing education and professional development.
