Position Description
Division: Brannan Aggregates
Position: Aggregate Quality Control Tech
Reports To: Plant Manager
FLSA Status: Full Time
Location: Central City, CO
Salary Range: $24.00-$28.50/hr DOE
Job Description/Responsibilities:
    • Inspect, sample, and conduct routine and special laboratory testing on construction materials, primarily aggregates but may also assist in other products according to the appropriate standard test method.
    • Will perform daily tests to ensure quality of products at the point of production, shipping, and when necessary, customer jobsites.
    • Document and report testing results to ensure product is compliant with required specifications
    • Individual will be expected to perform troubleshooting on field and jobsite problems.
    • Visually inspect stockpiles, material sources, mining faces, and truck loads at plant site(s).
    • Conduct testing and assist in plant calibrations to ensure proper quality of the product.
    • Verify test results with outside testing laboratories and maintain accurate and timely records on test data, product quality, and defective materials.
    • Will assist the scale house operator and loading crew as necessary to ensure the efficient flow of operations
    • Assist management with screens, and aggregate processing equipment condition and parts inventories
    • Perform other duties as required or assigned

Position Requirements
Qualifications:
    • High School graduation or its equivalent is required.
    • Previous material testing experience in aggregates is preferred.
    • A valid driver's license is required.
    • Must be capable of lifting samples up to 50 lbs.
    • Climb ladders and platforms, and work outdoors in all season or inclement weather
