Job description

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for cleaning and maintaining all public and guest rooms.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum lifting of 40 lbs.
  • Ability to verbally communicate effectively with guests and co-workers.
  • Pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, upward reaching.
  • Some exposure to cleaning chemicals
  • Prolonged periods of standing and/or walking.
  • Minimum one year hospitality experience

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Vacuum the carpets, polish furniture, empty trash and maintain the cleanliness of guest room suites.
  • Assist supervisors if needed.
  • Each associate is expected to complete, within their ability, all reasonable requests by management.
  • Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established Hilton policy, procedures, training and associates involvement activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Actively communicate with guests, be professional and courteous.
