Position Overview

The Marriage Counseling Solutions is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our innovative remote team based in Oakland, California. Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver evidence-based therapy tailored to the unique needs of individuals and families, employing a range of therapeutic modalities including cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and systemic family therapy.
  • Engage in collaborative treatment planning with clients, presenting them with options that best fit their circumstances and goals.
  • Conduct thorough clinical assessments to ensure appropriate therapeutic approaches are employed, and monitor clients' progress through regular evaluations.
  • Maintain precise and confidential documentation in compliance with state regulations and professional ethical standards.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to share insights, discuss best practices, and enhance treatment strategies.
  • Provide crisis intervention when necessary, supporting clients in acute situations through effective communication and support mechanisms.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will serve range from individuals struggling with anxiety and depression to families navigating complex relational dynamics. Our patient population reflects the diverse community of Oakland, with various cultural backgrounds, socioeconomic statuses, and life experiences. Your expertise will play a crucial role in arriving at personalized therapeutic interventions that respect and integrate clientsโ€™ cultural and personal values.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • An active Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license in California.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on empathetic listening and providing constructive feedback.
  • A thorough understanding of the principles of family systems and behavior modification techniques.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience working directly with individuals and families in therapeutic settings.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 115,000 to 120,000 per year, in addition to a comprehensive benefits package.
