MARQUEE DEVELOPMENT is a full-service real estate firm that specializes in mixed-use sports and entertainment districts. We strategically manage every aspect of a sports-adjacent mixed-use development with a best-in-class ability to curate the experience for a team, fans and community. By bringing bring a sports-operational mindset to traditional real estate development, we focus on the critical integration of team operations and real estate to ensure the experience amplifies the brand of the district, while complementing and protecting the team brand to maximize long-term franchise value.
HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE:
The executive assistant will play a pivotal role in supporting the Managing Principal and other high-level executives within the company. This position requires a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented individual with exceptional communication skills and a strong ability to prioritize tasks. The ideal candidate will be able to anticipate the needs of senior executives, manage complex schedules, and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
  • Serve as gatekeeper and primary point of contact between executives, associates and external stakeholders
  • Manage complex, high-volume calendars, including scheduling meetings, cross-department initiatives, office events and travel arrangements
  • Screen and prioritize incoming emails and assist in the timely response of requests
  • Anticipate executive needs and proactively resolve scheduling, operational, and logistical issues
  • Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, presentations, and briefing materials
  • Prepare and organize meeting agendas, minutes, follow-ups and action items
  • Provide a high level of customer service to visiting guests, including hotel/restaurant reservations, tickets, gifts, and logistics
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, including booking flights, hotels and transportation
  • Prepare and manage expense reports, reimbursements, time tracking, dues and subscriptions
  • Assist with project management and track executive initiatives, deadlines and action items across departments
  • Partner with IT to support technology needs, secure access, equipment setup and troubleshooting
  • Collaborate with Security to coordinate VIP tours and manage visitor access
  • Maintain executive contact database and coordinate outreach, follow-ups, and relationship management activities on behalf of executives
  • Provide document management support and maintain digital and physical filing systems
  • Ensure compliance with governance policies, confidentiality standards, and regulatory requirements

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
  • 5 years minimum experience as an Executive Assistant supporting C-suite executives
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work non-traditional work schedule, including Cubs games
  • Discretion and confidentially
  • College degree from an accredited institution
