Job Summary:
Must possess outstanding interpersonal communications skills to effectively interface with guests, supervisors, and team members. Responsible for all results from the cook line through the dining experience.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Possesses complete knowledge of all procedures related to the job.
  • Continuously fosters great relationships with team members in all areas and mentors others to do the same.
  • Ensures that all guests are treated in a prompt, professional and courteous manner.
  • Must possess outstanding interpersonal communications skills to effectively interface with guests, supervisors, and team members.
  • Sets standards by being cooperative, helpful, friendly and by presenting a neat, clean, well-groomed appearance.
  • Ensures proper staffing for forecasted volume and budgetary guidelines.
  • Ensures strict adherence to all policies and procedures.
  • Monitors inventories and reports discrepancies to the Marketplace Manager.
  • Assists in the end of period inventory process at the direction of the Marketplace Manager.
  • Assists in overseeing the weekly inventory of all supplies to ensure all equipment and products needed is on hand and properly rotated.
  • Attends meetings as directed by Marketplace Manager.
  • Assists in meeting budgeted figures for labor and other expenses.
  • Ensures excellent guest service.
  • Notifies team members of changes in policy and procedure.
  • At the direction of the Marketplace Manager, works closely with Department Trainer to ensure all new hires are trained both with classroom and floor programs.
  • Ensures all existing team members are attending follow up training sessions.
  • Communicates any problems or concerns to Marketplace Manager, or other designated F&B Manager.
  • Works with all departments to ensure proper communication.
  • Maintains files in such a way that another supervisor could perform efficiently in the event of his/her absence.
  • Promotes the Casino through good will and positive attitude.
  • Maintains high sanitation and safety standards.
  • Maintains security of products and areas assigned to department.
  • Sets high standards by complying with all departmental rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensures that all Team Members are treated in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years as a supervisor or assistant manager of a quick-serve or full service restaurant.

Certifications, Licenses, and/or Registrations:
  • Gaming license/registration as required by jurisdiction(s).
  • Ability to obtain a Food Managers Certificate.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and project management skills, with particular attention to quality and detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrates the ability to establish credibility and rapport with operating leaders.
  • Ability to analyze data, understand trends, and develop recommendations for action based on the analysis.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of the business drivers in the industry.
  • Self-starter with a creative mind and a track record of putting ideas into practice and assessing results
  • Must be available to work flexible shifts any days of the week, including holidays.
  • Takes full ownership of initiatives, using strategic thinking and creativity to overcome challenges.

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to work while standing for hours at a time.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Ability to use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms.
  • Ability to work in an environment with moderate to loud noise, bright lights, smoke, and dust
